To Our Community Partners:
We believe that poverty in the Triangle can be eliminated and are working with Dress for Success® to do just that. Since 2008, Dress for Success Triangle has helped more than 5,000 women gain the skills and confidence needed to get back on the employment fast track. Of these women, more than 46% gained employment in 2013, moving them one step closer to achieving financial independence and breaking the cycle of poverty.
Women for Success is a giving network comprised of passionate, young women who support Dress for Success Triangle and its mission to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women. We represent professionals from the Triangle’s top corporations and firms – a demographic your business targets.
Through quarterly social events and our annual Lift Benefit, we support Dress for Success Triangle through the funding of programs and purchasing of foundation items and basic necessities for their clients. All proceeds raised by Women for Success go directly to Dress for Success Triangle, and since our launch event in March 2013, we have secured more than $12,000 to support programs for the women whom we collectively serve.
Women for Success is reaching out to you with an opportunity to participate in our mission by providing a financial or in-kind donation for our upcoming Lift Benefit, taking place on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 from 8:00 to 11:00 PM at Solas in downtown Raleigh. By contributing to our efforts, your organization will benefit from online and onsite marketing, access to your target demographic, and inclusion in a Dress for Success Triangle monthly newsletter that reaches an audience of more than 7,000 Triangle residents. Sponsorship opportunities and the corresponding benefits are outlined in this packet.
With your help, we can work together to truly lift up our community by promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women. Thank you for your consideration of this significant opportunity to empower women and end poverty in the Triangle.
